cute and functional
i love the look and durability of the dog bowl being metal. i was wanting to slow down my dogs eating as he inhales his food in seconds. For me however i feel the raised grooves in it are not tall enough to really slow down my dogs eating , may be good for others but not my 100lb doberman. Another concern i have about this bowl is the bottom is just smooth metal no rubber feet or bottom which will allow the bowl to slide around a lot. the size of the bowl is true to measurement as described in listing and it is a good size but probably won’t work for what i need.

It takes my dog a lot longer to eat. She actually walks around the bowl. It’s a good size bowl. I’m probably can be used to feed a large dog. I will buy more of these bowls.

Small for big dogs
This bowl is not big enough for a larger dog. Our lab eats too fast. We replaced her plastic bowl with this one for better health. Overall, it is well made, easy to clean, and fits in the dishwasher. Itâs just a little small for our dog.

No way this is 3 cups
Very nice aesthetic looking bowl for a dog feeder, but it is low walled and the ribs are low so there is very little actual barrier from the food staying in and the dog slowing down while feeding. The raised areas are really practically flat. The side walls are so low that for what I wanted a Large feeding bowl I was going to see all the food being pushed around the bowl and onto the floor making a continuous mess. It’s pretty, and it’s nice that it came with a silicone mat to keep it from sliding, but no way it’s keeping 3 cups in the bowl and I can instead see this as a small to a medium sized bowl. Not for your lab or bigger dog for sure.
