Works great
Works great for our puppy at keeping her eating at a slow pace.

Works great but difficult to fill
The top can be a pain to take on and off and it is messy to pour in if the top is on. I prefer it with the top on because my cats like to steal the food and it deters them. However, most days the top is left off because no one wants to deal with it.

Was highly skeptical, but It Works Great!
Our 55lb Aussie inhales his food in seconds. Or, at least he used to.He is a very rambunctious, highly energetic, aggressive chewer that goes through even the “aggressive chewer” toys. So, I didn’t know how well this thing would fare. But, so far it is working well.Even without the top “fan” part, just the other piece really managed to slow him down, quite a bit. At first, I was hesitant to add the fan blade part on top, figuring he would break it fairly quickly. But, having added it, I can say that it is doing well, thus far. And, unlike another reviewer, I have not found it difficult to remove, if needed. As a bonus, this thing actually seems to have reduced his food aggression, oddly enough. For some reason, he has always been a little food aggressive. Especially over anything to do with his dog food bowl, but not with the treat balls that he gets. I don’t know if it’s because this is similar to those, in that he has to “work” a little bit for his food; but he hasn’t been aggressive about this bowl, at all, thus far.Might just be a coincidence, but I’ll take it!

Working out really well for us!|
ATDOALL Slow Feeder Dog Bowls, Maze Dog Food Puzzle Feeder for Dry Food/Wet Food/Raw Food. Well, our new puppy has food issues, and goes at it like heâs being timed. And, then, he goes after everyone elseâs food, which is causing problems with my other two dogs. This solved that, immediately! It has two levels of âslow downâ, so you can see which works best for you. We went with both levels. The first level is the maze, which slows things down quite a bit, and the second level, should you need it, is this pinwheel that he has to move out of the way to even get to the maze. My other two dogs were pleasantly surprised they didnât have to guard their food, prison style, from my puppyâs assault, lol. Itâs pretty sturdy, so I think it will last through some roughhousing. It has grippy nubs on the bottom, so it doesnât scoot across my wood floors very much. Itâs pretty light, though, so weâll see how that goes. I might add some after-market suction cups. Decent price on it.

Worked great for my puppy!
We recently got a new puppy from a rescue, a German shepherd, and he eats way too fast. His ribs are more noticeable than I’d like, but his stomach makes all sorts of upset sounds as he eats. Figured I’d give this a try. It helped – what would take him a minute to eat before now takes about ten. He may get faster as he gets used to the bowl, but didn’t use the fan blade-looking part; there’s room to make this more complex. He was VERY unhappy about this change in how he’s fed, but I’m pleased. Hoping this will help him slow down as he gets older and more adjusted to life here… He’s only about 11 weeks old and only came home a couple of days ago.Reasons I couldn’t give this five stars:1) There’s a white, button-like piece that serves as a cap in the center of the bowl. Unless I’m missing something, there’s not a good lock when you put it on. There are these notches you have to align to apply or remove it, and then you can spin it so the notches are not lined up any more. My pup has managed to remove this. It isn’t a choking hazard at his size, but he’s teething and could easily work a smaller piece of plastic off with his needle-sharp teeth.2) If it’s on a smooth surface with low friction, it’s very easy for a dog to move it around on the floor. I need to add grips to the bottom to stop that.3) It’s a relatively small volume of food that can be used before you cover up the plastic maze piece. Maybe 1.5-2 cups. Any volume over that might as well be in a normal bowl. The fan-looking piece might help slow down consumption beyond those 1.5-2 cups, but we’re not at that point with feeding yet. I don’t think this would be a good fit for an adult GSD. I don’t think it’d be great anything much larger than a lapdog as an adult, especially if you like putting food out and just letting your dog eat as it wants throughout the day.Beyond those, I have to say I like how modular it is. It makes cleaning MUCH easier. And, it does its job, although it becomes more difficult as the food left decreases (at least for this puppy). That has an added bonus of occupying him as he works to get the last bits. Plus, it was highly entertaining to see him angrily barking at it and smacking/accidentally spinning the inner blue portion.

Perfect slow feeder for those speedy eaters!
The product came in great condition, no damage to the box or the slow feeder it self. The slow feeder is very deep and well made. It is a lot larger than I expected as well, which is actually a good thing! just the feeder alone without the spin wheel on top made a significant difference in my dogs eating speed. I feel like if I try to feed him with the spin wheel, it would slow him down at least 3x his normal eating speed. Overall, I think this is a great product that will help slow down many speed eaters. If you’re contemplating on purchasing this item, I would say go ahead and pull the trigger, its definitely worth it.
